"Our small efforts at kindness can change people's lives more than we will ever know. Since it takes so little time and energy to change the world for the better, why not make an effort to do it every day?"

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens,

Knitting baby hats at Yserve is one of my favorite things to doWhen making the hats I get a warm feeling inside; so happifying. I love meeting the amazing people there and chatting with them as we make the hats. As you go through your busy day, remember--the more time you give, the more joy you have. =]

Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens,

Hot chocolate in the winter. I just love it. After a twenty minute walk home in the freezing rain, there is nothing better than snuggling under a blanket with fresh mug of hot chocolate and a good book. It can make the most dreary day a joy.

Brown paper packages tied up with strings,

Forget-me-nots; I love  them. I don't know what it is about this little flower. It has always had a special place in my heart. As a child, I picked hundreds of them--because they are so cute and small--for my mother and grandma. President Uchtdorf's talk reminded me of them. Now they have an even deeper meaning for me.

Forget not to be patient with yourself.
~
Forget not the difference between a good sacrifice and a foolish sacrifice.
~
Forget not to be happy now.
~
Forget not the "why" of the gospel.
~
Forget not that the Lord loves you.

These are a few of my favorite things =]

What are some of your favorite things?
