"Our small efforts at kindness can change people's lives more than we will ever know. Since it takes so little time and energy to change the world for the better, why not make an effort to do it every day?"

It's not really Thanksgiving anymore, but hey, "Live in Thanksgiving Daily" right? :)

I got this idea from my little sister: a wonderful inspiration :)
She got it from youth.lds.org:

Take a Gratitude Challenge
We always talk about counting our blessings—let’s do it! Write a list of 100 things you are thankful for.

  • Write 10 living people you are grateful for.
  • Write 10 people who have died you are grateful for.
  • Write 10 physical abilities you are grateful for.
  • Write 10 material possessions you are grateful for.
  • Write 10 things about nature you are grateful for.
  • Write 10 things about today you are grateful for.
  • Write 10 places on earth you are grateful for.
  • Write 10 modern-day inventions you are
grateful for.
  • Write 10 foods you are grateful for.
  • Write 10 things about the gospel you are grateful for.
"When we make a list like this, we discover that a list of 100 doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of all the things God has given us."

These are just lists of the first things that popped into my mind, and they go on SO much more than just the 10 listed! I could list so much more under each of these categories easily! But, that'd take a very very long time to write. Just know, this life is amazing :) There is sooooooooooooo much to be thankful for (basically everything).

Yes, it's been a while since my last post... I got caught up in life, there are important things that take precedence over blogging, and therefore, my time has been spent elsewhere; hopefully for the good.

And of course, here is a a quote; I hope you like it as much as I do. :)

What is Success?
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics
and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by
a healthy child, a garden patch
or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed
easier because you have lived;
This is to have succeeded.

Ralph Waldo Emerson
